Must have Shelby Co Journeyman License and must obtain ISA CCST level 1 certification within 6 months.
Must have excellent attendance and work records Must be able to stand for long periods of time Manufacturing experience a plus High school education required Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required Five or more years experience preferred in maintaining systems in a 24/7 chemical/Manufacturing Plant Must be able to anticipate problems and resolve before they occur Must be able to think quickly on their feet and make snap decisions with complete confidence in crisis situations Must be able to take instruction from Management as required to repair equipment.
Must be able to collaborate with others to provide solutions to a wide array of problems that may exist or arise to achieve the highest mechanical reliability possible.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of relevant OSHA safety rules.
Possess the following basic electrical and instrumentation skills:
o Able to read/interpret drawings (single line, schematic, P&I) o Ability to troubleshoot through use of PLC's, HMI's and DCS as well in the field.
o Use basic hand tools and operate basic shop tools o Measure, sketch, fabricate, and install conduits o Knowledge of safe access to work including scaffolding requirements o Able to torque tighten various threaded fasteners o Properly use chokers to rig equipment o Use computer systems to research technical documents o Work with Operations and Engineering as needed o Perform other duties and tasks as assigned o Use computer to look up and order parts from stores Stay up to date on all mandatory quarterly safety training and requirements Job Type:
