ENGILITY Corp is seeking a Principal Information Assurance Specialist in support of the SPAWAR Millington Data Center.
# RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The IA Specialist will apply information assurance activities throughout the entire lifecycle of systems acquisition, including:
Conduct research and analysis to ensure the center''s Certification & Accreditation (C&A;)
Draft documentation for submission to the Certification Authority (CA)
Validate authorized hardware, software, and firmware
Integrate IA activities in all phases of data center''s operations
Direct IA testing with security test tools (eg. Nessus/Retina/Gold Disk/STIG's/SRR's/Fortify) as directed to ensure efficient and secure operations, closely integrated with requirements definition and systems design & development
Work with NIST 800 series special publications to accurately communicate appropriate compliance requirements
Capture and interpret technical findings as well as documenting technical, policy, and procedural analysis of the security configurations of the systems within the data center
Mitigate identified IA vulnerabilities, reporting and responding to IA violations and incidents
Support the development and execution of security test plans and procedures and work with project personnel and Government authorities to mitigate discovered risks and deficiencies
Support initial and life-cycle DIACAP C&A; initiatives with regards to its DoD Information Assurance (DoD Directive 8500.1), MAC II/III, and Sensitive Requirements initiative found in DoD Information Assurance Implementation (DoD Instruction 8500.2)
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technology degree from an accredited school.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret DOD Security Clearance

years experience with Business IT/C2 Support Systems, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation with specific experience in designing or developing code.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
9-13 years advanced knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) and all aspects of Certification and Accreditation (C&A;) / DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) documentation
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
CISSP
Security+
Applicants selected for this position will require an _interim_ DoD Secret clearance. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
